Mirage by Doug Aitken. A site specific installation utilizing the form of a suburban American house. A sculpture composed of mirrors and reflected mirror surfaces. Mirage distills the recognizable and repetitious suburban home into the essence of its lines, reflecting and disappearing into the vast desert valley landscape. Desert X art in the desert. Thank you for giving this to us Doug. Definitely not a place to have a bad hair day.
